Welcome to Cottam Computers
Cottam Computers is a local family run IT maintenance company, we pride ourselves in providing good quality friendly service at a reasonable price. We can supply and fit spares and accessories for most makes of PC's and Laptops. In addition to hardware repairs we also offer an internet connection service and general problem solving.
We make every effort to complete repairs within 48 hours of the initial enquiry subject to availability of spares and very often repairs are completed the same day.
As part of our service we offer a free anti virus installation provided by AVG who are a well respected prvider of this kind of software, their free version can be upgraded to give further security at any time for a very reasonable charge.
Our Prices
We have a minimum charge of only £20 for on-site visits within a 20 mile radius of our postcode and we have menu pricing for most of our services, the minimum charge is only payable if the customer decides not to proceed with repairs after having the problem diagnosed. If your requirement isn't covered in this list please feel free to phone for a quote.
Internet and Network
Many of the calls we receive are regarding the set up or repair of internet broadband and dial up connections, or are requests for the set up of small networks so that files and printers can be shared between several computers. This is an area which can cause the most problems for some customers but it can usually be resolved within about an hour depending on the exact requirements.
